How It Works

Your organisation has upgraded your Computer equipment. Your old equipment is sent for recycling, some of this equipment will be of high enough specification to meet the needs of Computers for Irish Schools, Click here for minimum Specification

Contact Computers for Irish Schools 01 864 2773 donate@computersforschools.ie or complete our donation form here

Every machine donated to Computers for Irish Schools is... 1. Checked to see if it meets our specification. 2. Wiped of any data or corporate information using U.S Department of Defence Software 3. Donated to a designated school, with a maximum of 20 machines per school.

If required Computers for Irish Schools can give a detailed report back to the companies who have donated machines including 1. Serial numbers of machines received and donated 2. A certificate stating hard drives wiped 3. A certificate showing that CFIS have taken ownership of the equipment 3. A certificate of Donation, which will include the school who received the machines

Non conforming Computers

Machines that do not meet the minimum requirements will be recycled through our recycling programme which is ISO 9002 and ISO 14001 certified, licensed by Dublin City Council and operated by our sister company Electronic Recycling
